Some good tips right here if your looking into filming while you kite.


The only thing im not sure i would agree with is the suction cup mount. On GoPro's website it says dont use the suction cup mount for high impact sports IE Kiteboarding.  If i tied a lanyard from the camera to one of the fin screws or straps or handle i guess i would use this over the permanent surf hero mount because of the convenience of moving it around.  

Also i read this somewhere else but i should mention it here.  Its always a good idea to tie one of those Marine Floats to your camera as a just incase precaution, so even if your suction cup failed then your lanyard failed the camera would not sink and you could just look for the bright float and retrieve it. Just test the float in water to make sure it will float the camera plus the mounting of your choice before you depend on it.
